Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he is an Alternative R&B artist who combines R&B, Hip-Hop, and Reggae styles into his work. Derion began creating music when he was 10 years old after his mother bought him his first microphone. Initially starting out as a rapper, he taught himself how to sing at the age of 12.
