Access Unlocked December 1, 2016 Protest began yesterday in North Carolina, after prosecutors reported Officer Brentley Vinson "acted lawfully" in the killing of Keith Lamont Scott.

The forty-three (43) year-old was shot and killed while officers were searching for another individual unrelated to the incident.

Officials claim Scott exited his vehicle holding a gun and refused to put it away, after asked several times.

Scott's wife and other witnesses continue to dispute reports, her husband had a gun.

A little over one hundred (100) people gathered in Charlotte, walking the streets demanding justice for Smith.  Four (4) people have been arrested.
