DEBUT ALBUM AFTER THE CURSE ARRIVES JANUARY 13, 2023

(January 06, 2023 – Atlanta, GA) – Gearing up for a massive 2023, Atlanta’s hottest rising artist, buzzing rapper, and Slaughter Gang member 21 Lil Harold unleashes a new single and music video entitled “OUT OF TIME” via Slaughter Gang/Epic Records today. Listen to “OUT OF TIME” HERE and watch the music video HERE. It sets the stage for the arrival of his anxiously awaited debut album, AFTER THE CURSE, on Friday January 13, 2023. Pre-order/Pre-save HERE.

On the track, an ominous choir sample echoes over buzzing 808s and tense hi-hats. Meanwhile, 21 Lil Harold leans into a catchy cadence as he warns, “I’m on the block right now with my stick. In the accompanying visual, a pair of models flank him as he raps to the camera by a brand-new Rolls Royce. His two designer watches shine just as much as his uncompromising and undeniable delivery does!

It lands in the wake of “Damn” [feat. G Herbo]. In addition to nearing 1 million total streams, the song incited critical applause. Lyrical Lemonade hailed it as “an undeniable banger” and promised, 21 Lil Harold is up next. HotNewHipHop enthusiastically described them as “the perfect match.

Last year, the standout “Robbin Season” picked up steam on streaming services. Upon impact, HotNewHipHop proclaimed, “The ATL native is known for explaining his tough life experiences through music. Delivering massive bars over bass-thumping beats is the route he usually takes, and his most recent release falls into that category.

Following a period of intense subject matter, AFTER THE CURSE turns the page on the next chapter as 21 Lil Harold and his closest brothers focus on the moment and, finally, revel in a bit of their success.

Meanwhile, his breakout project LARRY (Deluxe) notably yielded the fan favorite banger “Good Times” [feat. Offset]. The latter reeled in 1.7 million Spotify streams, while Lyrical Lemonade proclaimed, “21 Lil Harold is looking like the artist that has the necessary charisma, talent, and connections required to succeed in his cutthroat market.

During 2021, LARRY captivated the culture and cemented 21 Lil Harold as an artist-to-watch. He dedicated the project to his friend Larry who tragically passed away. He went on to name each track after a friend who knew Larry. Piling up over 5 million-plus streams, it boasted fan favorites such as “Savage,” “Muffin (Freak Hoe)” [feat. Latto], and “Johnny” [feat. G Herbo], to name a few. Not to mention, it organically attracted co-signs from Drake, Travis Scott, Druski, and more.

It's 21 Lil Harold season. Get ready for AFTER THE CURSE.

ABOUT 21 LIL HAROLD

Atlanta native Lil Harold upped the ante on his already escalating career when he delivered the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed LARRY project in the Summer of 2022. While new cuts like “Good Times” with Migos’ Offset fanned the flames of the already hot project, it was Harold’s signature style that grabbed the attention of the world. As a protégé of 21 Savage and founding member of Slaughter Gang, Harold knows the story of the Atlanta streets all too well and effortlessly sets it to music. Raised on soulful greats like Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack, Chaka Khan, and Marvin Gaye, mixed with the hip-hop of artists like Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliott, Harold is a master of conveying emotion in his songs while still reflecting his undeniable swag. His old soul is prominent on the aforementioned “Good Times” as the song interpolates the 1980 classic song “Take Your Time (Do It Right)” by S.O.S. Band, a callback to the musical era that inspired Harold the most. Prior to the re-up of LARRY, the original release was a gamechanger for Harold, as it not only signaled his Slaughter Gang arrival, but it showcased his unique storytelling that set him apart from other members of the crew. Tracks like “Savage,” “Down Bad,” and “Muffin (Freak Hoe)” with fellow ATL starlet Latto were proof of that.
