Marcel was introduced to music in general by his father who was a well- known DJ in the metro-Detroit area in the 70s-80s. Musically inclined since then, Marcel first tried his hand at music by imitating his father, becoming a DJ. Marcel wanted more, secretly crafting his skills as an MC, and later producer.
